Chauncey “Nix” Dickens
Founder | Host | Writer | Professional Rabbit-Hole Explorer
Chauncey “Nix” Dickens is the founder of DYSG Media™ and creator and host of Do You Speak Geek?, where his lifelong love of comics, gaming, professional wrestling, anime, hip-hop, and pop culture gives him plenty to talk about—and very little reason to stop. Known affectionately as the “Blerd Bryant Gumbel,” Nix brings a journalist's curiosity, a fan's enthusiasm, and a storyteller's perspective to every conversation.
Away from the microphone, he's an author, interviewer, and creator who believes geek culture is at its best when everyone has a seat at the table. Above everything else, he's a husband, father, and professional collector of ideas that usually arrive when he should be sleeping.

Aaron Mayzing
Podcaster | Commentator | Builder | Sword and Board Specialist
Aaron Mayzing is a gamer, fighter, and lover of strange things. Formerly known as ThePudgyPanther, Aaron is a streamer, cosplayer, and creator of The Undying Kingdom LARP group. A man of full-bodied enthusiasm, he is known to throw himself completely into nerdy pursuits, tackling pop culture discussions with the same sustained zeal as he has when running into boss battles. Callbacks, tangents, and “oh that reminds me of” are his favorite tools of the trade.
As a cosplayer, he built the costumes as an extension of the love felt for the character. Be it mutant revolutionary Cyclops, King of Wakanda T’Challa, or Big Man Blastoise, screen accuracy is less of a priority than embodying the character for a few hours of laughs and smiles.
As a LARPer, his focus has been bringing the hobby and sport to wider audiences through hosting practices and building sessions. While hosting tournaments, Aaron returns to the battlefield as Lord Adaku, spreading joy to old friends and terror to new enemies. Letting his belief that ‘community is key to everything’ lead him, he is raising the tide of new faces in fantasy spaces.
As a gamer, Aaron’s ThePudgyPanther moniker is known to haunt the late-night lobbies of classics like Dead by Daylight, For Honor, and Mortal Kombat. No fighting game is safe, but that doesn’t mean there’s no risk of seeing that dreaded match invite pop up in Pokémon or Mario Kart! Whether it's with words, weapons, or in the game, the Host with the Most loves a good battle.
